This role change relieved me of my people management responsibilities to continue contributing highly to the automation efforts for human-initiated processes across the Cloud Services department and extended IT division and to act as the product owner/expert in a more effective way for the in-house software I developed.

Managed 6 individuals in the Operations Team, responsible for completing customer Service Requests and resolving faults for customers of hosted iTrent and Business Objects (SAP) software. In my role, I became responsible for prioritising these items and appropriately escalating them within the business for continued support. I also became a customer-support escalation point where I actively played a role in de-escalating customer issues and finding mutual resolutions to support or service issues.In 2018 - alongside my Team Leader responsibilities, I wrote, tested and deployed in-house automation software for a significant number of human-initiated processes and procedures completed by the Operations Team. Later, this software took up more responsibilities and capabilities for estate monitoring, change management and more.

I was responsible for completing customer service requests (including software patching and upgrades), resolving faults with the hosted services and working amongst a team with a common goal.

I designed, developed, tested and delivered a variety of websites for clients throughout the United Kingdom (and some international) alongside my studies. During this time, I learned a lot about Website Design and Development, a wealth of customer-service skills and a drive for automation, personal autonomy and business skills.
