Over the next five years we intend to double the number of people we serve by providing services that are innovative and driven by the needs of the community.We are Orange County’s leading nonprofit provider of education, training, and career services for people with disabilities as well as those with other barriers to independence. We enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals, families, and communities by eliminating barriers to opportunity and helping them reach their fullest potential through powerful programs and services. The constantly changing needs in Orange County have led to the creation of several specialty programs at Goodwill. A wide range of services including those that assist people with severe mental illness or provide assistive technology to people who lack the ability to communicate are just a few examples of the unique programs that have found a home at Goodwill. In August 2008, the Goodwill Fitness Center for people with physical disabilities or chronic illness opened its doors - a 12,000 square foot facility at 1601 E St. Andrew Place in Santa Ana. At the time, there were more than 600 fitness centers in Orange County, but not one was designed to meet the needs of this group of individuals who relied on physical activity and adaptive fitness equipment to improve their health and wellness. At the Goodwill Fitness Center, we believe that every person, regardless of physical disability or health status, can benefit from a comprehensive exercise program.

The Women’s Summit was created to provide senior women executives and business leaders the opportunity to connect with other women in the community and build mutually beneficial relationships. Through the Women’s Summit, selected women leaders will be able to participate in breakfast Summits as well as attend evening networking Gatherings that will provide opportunities to build valuable industry relationships and to share insights and experiences with other participants.
