CurrentCannabis Researcher PI: Meg Haney, PhD• Interviewed, trained and supervises staff of full-time research assistants, part-time research assistants and volunteers• Conducts phone screens and in-person screening; trains participants on study tasks; administers CSSRS (Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale), generates data collection documents and Qualtrics surveys; collects, enters, and maintains all study data; manages lab expenses and petty cash; assists in hiring new staff• Schedules physical exams with physicians, reviews lab results and subject eligibility; schedules Structured Clinical Interviews (SCID) with Clinical Psychologists• Develops flow sheets, case report forms, monitor checklists for new studies• Performs phlebotomy, ECGs, urine pregnancy and drug tests, collection of vital signs, timeline follow-backinterviews, cold pressor tests, and non-invasive strip searches; administers field sobriety tests and Mini-Mental State Exams; transcribed cannabis and oxycodone administration sessions; oversees adverse event management, conducts protocol review sessions; oversees storage and shipment of human biological samples• Drafts and submits memos, applications for continuation of research, protocol summary forms, consent forms, and protocol amendments to the Institutional Review Board (IRB)• Adapted all lab protocols to incorporate federal and institutional safety guidelines in response to the COVID-19 pandemic• Collaborated with the biotechnology company (Aelis Farma; Bordeaux, France) and laboratory diagnostics company to create a comprehensive lab manual detailing blood sample collection and processing, maintain regulatory binders and create electronic case report forms for a Phase I clinical trial assessing an experimental medication as a treatment for cannabis use disorder• Created and maintains regulatory binders for a Phase I experiment in humans and NIDA Funded Studies
