Serve as the Research Program Manager for the Advancing Evidence for the Global Implementation of Spatial Repellents (AEGIS) project at the University of Notre Dame funded by Unitaid. In this role I provide programmatic and administrative support to the AEGIS team and its activities in the US, Africa, and Asia. This includes supporting effective partnerships with stakeholders and partner organizations, completing and maintaining professional documentation for projects and deliverables, acting as a liaison for consultant activities and sub-contracts, ensuring statements of work, contracts, and deliverables are in place, initiating, tracking, and monitoring contracts, IRB applications, and other administrative and programmatic documents, working closely with Lead PI and Finance Manager to ensure timely and compliant spending, and maintaining frequent, open, ongoing communication with program team and consortium members.

As Program Director, I provide strategic input and programmatic support for all research and new collaborative activities, both internal and external at the Eck Institute for Global Health. I lead and manage the development and implementation of internal Institute programs like fellowships, grants and funding, etc and I assist with efforts to pursue financial support for interdisciplinary global health efforts. Another responsibility is providing administrative support to ongoing and new ventures with other academic institutions, hospitals and health systems, community partners, and public/private partnerships. My position enhances the visibility of the Eck Institute for Global Health across the Notre Dame campus and assists with building Notre Dame's global health community through planning and collaborating on internal health and development projects.

Eck Institute For Global Health

As Assistant Program Director for the Eck Institute for Global Health I assisted with partnership with Catholic Relief Services and Catholic Health Association on the implementation and management of the Health Systems Strengthening Initiative in Zambia and Haiti including the development of operations research model and monitoring and evaluation framework. I am also responsible for connecting faculty members and students with various grant opportunities to facilitate global health research. In addition, I serve as university representative in strategic planning for global outreach, international partnerships, and private-public partnerships

The program is a one-year, intensive training with two semesters in the classroom and six weeks in a resource limited country implementing a research project. As a student, I engaged in and learned about qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, mathematical modeling, mHealth platforms, field training, laboratory research, and project management. Particular interest in Maternal and Child Health, Infectious and Non-Communicable Diseases, Health Systems Strengthening, and Monitoring and Evaluation.
