The Young Ambassadors program was developed because the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation believes in the incredible power of young people making a difference in the world. As a Young Ambassador & Mentor with the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation, I worked with organizations such as Food Bank NYC, The Garden of Dreams Foundation, New York Presbyterian, Ronald McDonald House, etc. in the effort to help my community around me in the tri-state area. Since becoming a member of this foundation, I have received the runner-up S.A.V.E. scholarship for my outstanding community service efforts.

Duties involved press releases, research, answering phones, corresponding with departments, filing. Strong writing and communication skills were necessary for this role.

Worked alongside the Gopher Sports Communications Department with game day duties at sporting events. This fast pace internship consisted of running information to the broadcasting suite, recording in game statistics, listening on a head set to what the professionals I was working with were saying, displaying stats on the big screen, printing papers and distributing them to the in game journalists, etc.

Worked at front desk, as a coach, and camp counselor.
