Conceived and implemented a new system for press release distribution and contact organization for the Institute, and provided day-to-day support and counsel for media outreach activities. Managed the 2009 & 2010 Monitoring the Future BBRs, including coordinating interviews with the Director of NIDA and Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy, and editing and distributing a finished product within hours of the event.CDC Division of Cancer Control and PreventionFor Inside Knowledge: Get the Facts About Gynecologic Cancer, Ashley focused on media audits and analysis, as well as creating and implementing media monitoring.
