Dealer Tire is family owned and we have been based in Cleveland, OH for over 100 years, and Dealer Tire employs over 1,000 associates and operates an extensive network of distribution centers throughout the country. As a Talent Acquisition specialist, I guide both passive and active candidates throughout the entire interview process from their initial conversation to their first day with Dealer Tire. I have supported and hired throughout the organization, including associates in Program Management, Accounting, HR, Supply Chain, IT, and Sales. I am currently supporting our distribution center network by placing warehouse associates and delivery driver throughout our 28 DCs. I also, continue to support our business groups with recruiting efforts for employees to join our corporate office.

Total Quality Logistics is a rapidly growing third party logistics organization that has become the 2nd largest freight brokerage firm in the nation. With rapid growth, comes the need to consistently bring in top talent to join their inside sales force as Logistics Account Executive. As a Sales recruiter, I would reach out to both passive and active candidates and guide them through the interview process. Throughout the interview process I would collaborate with my Hiring Manager to ensure we selected the top talent. As I progressed in my career with TQL, I was given the opportunity to join the Corporate Recruiting Coordination team. This opportunity gave me the ability to gain a more holistic view of recruiting as I assisted in managing the lead tracking database, facilitated and verified all background checks, and collaborated with recruiters to best support our managers and candidates. My time at TQL confirmed my ambition to continue to grow as an HR professional. Through my experiences with Total Quality Logistics, I was able to leverage my skills in recruiting to take on a Talent Acquisition Specialist role with Dealer Tire.

Tailored Healthcare staffing is a Travel Nurse Recruiting Agency that falls under the umbrella company of Health Carousel. Through this agency, Nurses have the ability to travel across the country to support hospitals and patients in need. As a Nurse Recruiter I had the opportunity to interview nurses interested in travel opportunities and determine what placement would be best for them based upon experience level, specialty and travel requests. Once a placement had been made, I was able to work collaboratively with the credentials team to ensure a timely and smooth hiring and onboarding experience. Though my time was short with Tailored Healthcare, it gave me the spark to continue to develop within my HR and Recruiting career. Through my experiences with Tailored Healthcare Staffing, I was able to move forward in my recruiting career with the opportunity at Total Quality Logistics.
