I completed my law degree at the University of Newcastle in 2006, and also completed a Bachelor of Science (Forensic) in 2004. After university, I completed my practical legal training at the College of Law in Sydney, where I obtained a Diploma of Legal Practice. Whilst I now focus exclusively on family law matters, I have had experience in a number of different areas of law including conveyancing, wills and estates, and local court criminal and traffic matters. Family law has always been my primary interest area, and in 2015 I achieved my goal of becoming an Accredited Specialist in this area. In 2013 I obtained a Graduate Certificate in Applied Law (Family Law) through the College of Law.I am a past secretary and current committee member of the Hunter Valley Family Law Practitioners Association. I am a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, the Newcastle Law Society, and the Law Society of New South Wales. I have a keen interest in business matters, and I have previously spent multiple years as a director of the Hunter Young Professionals Network (formerly Newcastle and Hunter Junior Chamber).I'm admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales, and entered on the High Court register of practitioners, and I am entitled to appear in all federal courts.
