Ashley is an experienced energy consultant across the energy value chain and regulatory space, specialising in renewable (including hydrogen) infrastructure delivery, network regulatory models and the retail energy market. Ashley has a background in electricity network policy within the Energy Security, Networks & Markets Directorate at BEIS (DESNZ) and Motor Finance, Taxation and ESG policy at the BVRLA, as well as prior business development and accountancy roles.In his spare time, Ashley performs as a semi-professional singer, raising money for various charitable causes. Additionally, he is a keen sportsman and administrator, setting up an 11 a side football team in London and participating in regular rounds of golf.Skills and Experience:- Detailed knowledge of the energy regulatory space, from network regulation including the electricity price control & retail space, to infrastructure delivery, CfDs and Hydrogen Business Models.- Strong experience of solo and collaborative project delivery, including PMO energy infrastructure support, designing a standard costing process, and event delivery.- Capable problem solver, through forensic compliance review, network policy development & establishing new business strategy to increase sales.- Strong stakeholder & customer relationship management (written and oral) skills, both with colleagues at all levels and with senior influencers, including presentation and panel appearances at conferences in London.
