As an Opportunity Youth Manager at EmployIndy, I oversee the implementation and coordination of programs and services that support young adults who are disconnected from education and employment. I work with a team of passionate and dedicated professionals who share the mission of creating a more equitable and inclusive workforce in Indianapolis. I have a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Political Science and Government from Ball State University, where I developed my skills in communication, writing, and critical thinking. I also studied at Keele University in the United Kingdom as part of my BS degree, where I gained a global perspective on social and political issues. My career journey started as a Neighborhood Assistant and Public Ally at EmployIndy and Public Allies, where I learned how to engage with diverse communities and stakeholders, and how to apply the principles of asset-based community development. I am passionate about empowering opportunity youth to achieve their goals and aspirations, and to contribute to the social and economic well-being of their neighborhoods and city.
