At Capital One, I led a team of 6-10 tech recruiters in both the Digital, Architecture and Delivery Experience space and Card Technology space. We partnered daily with internal engineering leaders to develop and execute on hiring strategies for their growing teams. Additionally, I helped to develop and launch a new recruiting process in technology coined as ONETech in each of Capital One's major geographies. I co-led our Virigina ONETech team which covered technical hiring for all of Richmond and McLean. Some of my responsibilities included: - Program research and development - Systems and process development- Program education and training to all impacted hiring managers (100+) and technical recruiters (50+)- Regular ONETech communication and data reporting to hiring managers and business partners - Weekly Q&A office hours for hiring managers- Creation of and then training on streamlined post-interview process for both hiring managers and technical recruiters Some of my recruiting management responsibilities included:- Weekly and Bi-weekly one on one meetings with each of my recruiters - Mid-year and year-end performance reviews- Pulling recruiting data and metrics from Tableau - Monthly Business Review slide decks and presentations to both hiring managers and tech TA- Monthly rotation to present on Tech Recruiting to new hires for Capital One (audience member levels ranging from Senior Associate to Senior Director)

As a technical recruiter for Capital One, I was primarily supporting the Enterprise Products and Platforms business organization, hiring for:- Software Engineers- Mobile Engineers- Machine Learning and AI Engineers- Agile Delivery Leads

I managed a team of recruiters in the Washington D.C. Metro Area that was focused on recruitment for the Microsoft and Quality Assurance markets. We were a highly specialized team with a vast network of both existing and ever expanding contacts in Washington D.C. Metro Area.

As a tour guide I gave solo and group tours to prospective students. I also spoke on student panels, sharing my personal experiences at Roanoke College with prospective students.

I spent the summer of 2009 pounding the pavement in Salem and Roanoke, Virginia, knocking on an average of 100 doors a day. I was awarded with "knocking on the most doors" for my team at the end of the summer.
