I am a licensed therapist in California with extensive experience in child and family therapy. Over the past 1.5 years, I have worked at San Ysidro Health nonprofit organization, providing therapeutic services to children and families utilizing CBT, DBT, behavior therapy, family therapy, trauma focused therapy, mindfulness, play therapy and solution focused therapy. I have previously worked in an inpatient setting for high-risk adolescents as an Assistant Program Director and a Primary Therapist. Prior to this role, I served as a social worker in child welfare for four years, gaining invaluable experience in supporting vulnerable children and families. Currently, I maintain my private practice, Tapia Blooming Therapy, where I specialize in conducting immigration evaluations, utilizing my comprehensive background in both therapy and social work to offer compassionate and informed support to my clients.
