Led four multilingual participatory science workshops with a total of 60 participants funded by the California Sea Grant. Developed and translated an educational curriculum about internal marine invertebrates from English to Mandarin to enhance environmental literacy and climate advocacy within non-English speaking communities. Quantify malate dehydrogenase and lactic acid dehydrogenase via micro pipetting, spectrophotometry, and centrifuge associated with the cellular stress response to determine whether a biochemical, physiological response accompanies nudibranchs’ behavioral response to climate change.

Planned daily labs and graded papers for 25 community college students and required high coordination with my supervisor. Learned how to operate laboratory industry equipment such as micropipettes, autoclaves, spectrometry, gel electrophoresis, and pH meters.
