In a FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center), I am the Project Manager for all clinical system implementations, upgrades, and supports all aspects of the EHR, NextGen.• Appointed System Administrator for the organization's EMR (NextGen) and all ancillary clinical applications.• Supports the organization’s data needs by creating custom reports, performing data analysis, and is the Chair of the Data Analytics Committee.• Works closely with third-party software support vendors – OSIS for NextGen hosting and operational support needs.• Leads multi-disciplinary teams documenting current state processes. Establishing standardized future state workflows used for staff training and competencies.• Oversees implementation for add-on NextGen products: NG Share/CareQuality (Interoperability), NG Care (mass outreach), Chronic Care Management Template Suite.• Managed all Patient Engagement (InteliChart) implementations, and provides support for day-to-day operational needs. Intelichart modules include Patient Portal, Patient Intake, Patient Survey, Patient Notify.• Supports all clinical software products and upgrades. Acts an intermediary between front line staff and vendor support for all clinical applications within the organization – NextGen PopHealth, NextGen EHR, Phreesia (patient intake), InteliChart (Patient Portal, Patient Intake, Patient Survey).• Works with Clinical leadership to develop training programs and deployment of new software. Served as Business Process Manager and Supply Chain Project Manager in a $40 million multi-year project implementing global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems – Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite. Coordinated with key business areas to finalize development of future state business processes for finance, manufacturing, sales & order management, shipments, and procurement, including linkage of processes across areas.• Served in multiple capacities within a multi-year project in an Agile environment; Business Process Manager, Supply Chain Project Manager, Operations Testing Coordinator.• Standardized business process documentation to APQC Industry Standard and launched interactive BPM library alongside training material for new business users. • Operations Testing Coordinator during System Integrated Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) using HP ALM (Application Life Cycle Management). Oversaw testing sessions with end users, core team, and SI consultants to ensure testing was completed to schedule and met exit criteria requirements. • Ensured test case scenarios and script defects were resolved to meet exit criteria prior to the next planned Sprint cycle. • Directed requirements workshops with key stakeholders & SI consultants using business process documentation to capture, business requirements, & identify system solutions. • Designed a “new Item creation” global business process simplifying introduction of new products and portfolios. Integrated into existing New Product Development Introduction (NPDI) process.

• Researched and developed preliminary proposal for funding of RFID pilot testing for Receiving Department.• Created a process-flow map of Receiving Department for receiving and scanning physical goods.• Updated and revised training documents and policies for receiving and inventory processes.• Conducted inventory audits.• Restructured roles and responsibilities of Mass Production Buyers group in Procurement Division.• Responsible for testing and studying new 3D-Cube layout software for Product and Packaging Engineers.

Interning at the Risk Management and Safety Department at Ohio University Athens campus for Jeff Campbell the EHS Director and Occupational Safety Officer. Internship activities include participating with other members of the department in their daily duties, such as facilitation of fire drills, fire extinguisher inspections, inspecting for mold on campus, working with the pest control unit, AED inspections and upkeep, kitchen audits, traffic/crosswalk studies, light surveys and working on safety projects within the department. Other activities include completion of training programs, such as the Authorized Radiation Worker (ARW) training, confined space, LOTO, and Fall prevention.

Worked on IRB approved case study with Professor Brian Hoyt at the Ohio University-Lancaster campus. The research includes a case study on current skill gaps between current business graduates and organizational hiring needs. Survey work included was development and disseminated to students through surveymonkey.com. The data from the student survey, and a previously conducted business survey, were downloaded into SPSS and analyzed. Additional activities included the input of data into Microsoft Excel in creating data charts, visual bar charts, and weighted tables. Other aspects of the case study include effectiveness of project-based approach to teaching and learning models, such as Bloom’s Cognitive Taxonomy, have suggested that methods of teaching that allow for greater application require a higher level of cognition that cannot be achieved in traditional or online settings. This research will continue to include gaps in student internships, more specifically using the engineering field as an extension of the case study. The research was previously funded by the Ohio University – Lancaster campus research and curriculum grant. I have completed the IRB application necessary to conduct this research study, as well as completion of the IRB training on conducting Human Research.
