Enhanced Coaching Specialist Early Learning Indiana, Child Care Answers / Indianapolis, IN / 2016 - Present Coach and mentor targeted group of early childhood programs towards continuous quality improvement using Indiana’s Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS), Paths to QUALITY (PTQ).  Supports caseload of 30 - 35 programs in quality improvement measures by providing technical assistance and reflective methods towards goals.  Identifies individual needs for infant, toddler, preschool, and/or school age teacher needs.  Provides individual lesson plan training and curriculum implementation.  Assists with facility expansion needs specific to classroom environments.

Coached and mentored caseload of early childhood programs towards quality improvement using Indiana’s Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS), Paths to QUALITY (PTQ).  Provided technical assistance to caseload of roughly 80 programs in quality improvement measures.  Recognized needs of individual educators and provided support around identified goals.  Worked with a variety of licensed family child care programs, unlicensed registered ministries and licensed centers.  Collaborated with administration teams towards best practices for children.

Oversaw and coached preschool program of roughly 200 families, while ensuring children’s basic and educational needs were met. Trained preschool teachers on developmentally appropriate practices, and offered additional support to families based on need.  Provided ongoing monitoring and observations for individual classrooms.  Assessed single child profiles, goals and assessment checkpoints.  Conducted quarterly and yearly teacher evaluations.  Maintained preschool systems related to planning and curriculum, developmental measurements, and staff needs.

Worked with preschool teachers on environment updates, lesson planning training and ideas, child portfolio assessments, and other needs determined by team.  Teamed up with a variety of teachers to determine specific goals, and action plans towards implementation.  Provided constructive feedback based on development needs and Standard Operating Procedures.  Lead training sessions based on individual or program need, as well as served as an orientation trainer for new staff agency wide.  Used a variety of tools (Ongoing Head Start Monitoring, CLASS, ECERS, Health and Safety) in assessments and observations.
