I work in the liver tissue engineering field, under the mentorship of Prof. Sangeeta Bhatia.

I worked in the Heilshorn Biomaterials Group, developing tunable, protein-based bio-inks for 3D-printed hydrogels, with applications in tissue culture matrices. Skills include:- modification of polymers using organic chemistry- mechanical characterization of new materials with rheology, and - operation of a 3D-bioprinter to test printability of new bio-inks

I worked in the Center for the Development of Therapeutics (CDoT), and my project focused on developing QSAR models based on binding affinity data. These models will be used to predict the binding affinity of potential small molecule inhibitors of a mutant of K-Ras protein that is commonly found in pancreatic and colon cancers.

I worked in the Biochemical and Cellular Pharmacology Department of gRED (Genentech Research and Early Development). My project focused on using DoE (design of experiments) and automation to address the assay development bottleneck that persists in the biotech industry.

I worked in the Division of Stem Cell Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine within Stanford's Department of Pediatrics, studying the roles that different mitochondrial proteins play in reticular dysgenesis, a primary immunodeficiency. Techniques learned include tissue culture, western blotting, flow cytometry, and CRISPR knockouts.

I tutored elementary and middle school students in various levels of mathematics and reading comprehension, and evaluated their performance on classwork and homework.
