I’m Ashley Lin (林祐暄), an undergraduate at Georgetown University pursuing a Science, Technology, and International Affairs degree, a Computer Science minor, a certificate in Diplomatic Studies, and language proficiency in Mandarin Chinese. I care deeply about international security, focusing on artificial intelligence governance, US-China strategic competition, and defense technology innovation. I have assisted with research and writing on these topics at RAND, the Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET), the Special Competitive Studies Project (SCSP), and the DoD U.S. Southern Command.Previously, I co-founded the Atlas Fellowship, a talent search program that gives students a $10,000 scholarship and a free 11-day program on topics like epistemology, AI, and personal development. Before that, I led a nonprofit that ran online cultural exchange programs for students in 70+ countries, helped design a new mastery-based graduation pathway in Washington, and taught entrepreneurship classes to high school students in Portland, OR.
