About Ashley Hunter
I founded The Fit Kids Foundation in January 2011 and currently serve as the Executive Director. I grew up in Wayzata, MN where I attended The Blake School. After graduating from Middlebury College and in 1998 with a degree in Psychology, I spent 2 years as an investment banking analyst with Robertson Stephens in San Francisco. I have always been very active in the non-profit world. I am the Co-Founder and former Co-President of Circle of Friends, now called Ambassadors for Packard Children’s Hospital, an organization that supports Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. I am also a former a board member of the San Francisco Zoological Society and a former member of the Joint Development Committee at Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health. Currently, I am on the National Parks Conservation Association Regional Council and the California Council on Physical Fitness and Mental Well Being. I grew up as an avid athlete and am passionate about health, fitness and helping children.
