Mosqoy is a Canadian charitable organization and social enterprise that works in the Peruvian Andes to mitigate the adverse effects of unsustainable tourism and development. It provides educational and economic opportunities that nurture the threatened indigenous Quechua cultural traditions.

I co-developed a new curriculum for Rustic Pathways' Critical Issues Program, called "La Niña Andina: The Andes Women’s Initiative," and then acted as Program Leader on its pilot program. This role involved leading educational tours in rural communities of the Andean mountains of Peru, focusing on critical development, women’s empowerment, access to education, and community-based economies.

Assisted with and facilitated many research projects, under the supervision of Dr. Michelle LeBaron and Carrie MacLeod, relating to alternative dispute resolution, conflict management, and arts-based approaches to resilience and conflict resolution.

My role included researching and writing academic manuscripts for international peer-reviewed journals on the precautionary principle and community values relating to land rights, under the supervision of Dr. Henrik Moller and Dr. Phil Lyver.

My role included the documentation of a medical mission to Guatemala, through photographs, videography, interviews, translation, and written blogs, as well as the creation of other PR materials.

Hosted by the Centre for Sustainability (CSAFE), my role was as a science communicator and community-engaged researcher. It included writing, editing, and coordination for a community magazine, writing to translate scientific project results to the public, and inputting revisions of TMK project website content. My largest contribution was the Marine Cultural Health Index, a community toolkit based on traditional ecological knowledge that allows communities to assess the health of their own harvest resources.
