Ashli is a toxicologist with multidisciplinary training in risk assessment, animal science and nutrition, regulatory science and compliance, consumer product safety, and food/feed safety. She holds a Ph.D. in Toxicology from Texas A&M University and a B.S. in Forensic Science from Albany State University. Ashli conducted her doctoral research at the Office of the Texas State Chemist, which aims to protect consumers of locally produced feed and fertilizers by monitoring statewide compliance with animal, human, and environmental health regulations. Her doctoral research focused on innovating risk assessment tools to improve feed and nutrient security for Texas beef cattle exposed to the unintentional accumulation of excess dietary nutrients, such as sulfur, and unexpected sources of food contamination, like fumonisin. Ashli is a woman of integrity with a foundation of competence, selfless dedication, meticulous work ethic, and a passion for learning, who is now available to work!
