I am the lead writer and editor of campus communications on behalf of the Vice President and the campus as a whole, sending emails internally & externally. I built email templates and branding guidelines to use for various communication purposes (announcements, newsletters, updates, events, etc.)I managed 80 webpages & led a full scope redesign project to change all webpages to a new template using Magnolia as the CMS. I used Google Analytics to generate interpretive reports for the Vice President of the Round Rock Campus. Using the collected data on GA, I would to make suggestions & changes based on user behaviors, demographics, devices, user pathways, and make predictive projections based on which academic programs pages get the most traffic. I coordinated with our 3rd party marketing agency to deliver advertising campaigns and make suggestions for the content, verbiage, audience demographics, content assets, funding allocations, etc.I manage our campus social media accounts, I produce all content such as planning and delivering campaigns, creating graphics, photographing events, writing/editing captions, and ensuring branding & accessibility guidelines are followed. I generate analytical reports for our social media performance and translate the data results into insightful conclusions about each data set's performance, taking full ownership of all analytical results and presenting them in an easily digestible manner.I coordinate various marketing projects that align with our strategic goals in efforts to increase student enrollment, build community, and support our university goals and mission. I identify needs for promotional giveaway items to students, community members, and local businesses to increase brand awareness in the Central Texas community. I would design all items (brochures, flyers, t-shirts, posters, and other merchandise), and work with vendors to ensure all needs are met.

As the marketing specialist for a startup non-profit 'We Can Sign' (American Sign Language tutoring), I managed all marketing related facets of this organization. This included developing an effective marketing strategy, managing social media accounts, website development / maintenance, designing merchandise, photography & video editing, and advertising for our events and services. I coordinated partnerships with local businesses as our non-profit's liaison to advocate for the value of learning American Sign Language and starting a movement to have our community become more deaf-friendly. I planned community events to advocate for awareness to our organizational mission and to support our community.

As a senior lead intern, I lead weekly meetings regarding organizational updates, project management, and upcoming events. I helped design and create marketing tools to promote services we provide. I participated in coordinating Career Fair preparation which entailed contacting employers, marketing the events to students, taking and recording receipts of payment, and providing an engaging and welcoming environment for all attendees. I also completed a Professional Development Certificate Program which taught me how to create resumes, cover letters, CV's, letters of recommendation, career related workshops, professional dressing, etc.

In the summertime between semesters in college, I accepted a position with Community partnerships as an Employment mentor. I managed a group of individuals with disabilities and coordinated summer jobs for them, we create case-by-case work plans for each individual based on their needs, disabilities and areas for growth. I advocated for students to their supervisors for their necessary accommodations, and encouraged students to foster healthy relationships with their coworkers and superiors. One of my students did so well at his position that he was hired on as a company employee after the summer was over!

I served as head teacher for the after school program for ~50 children from ages 5-11 years old. I cultivated a safe, positive, inclusive, and educational environment for my children and planned activities for them each day. I would communicate with the child's parents regarding their child's behavior and progress on homework assignments that I would assist with. I kept record of signs of any possible neglect or mistreatment of the children in their home lives, to monitor their wellbeing and if necessary, report to CPS. I coordinated activities that were fun, active, diverse, inclusive, and educational for the children to do when they got out of school.
