BayCare Endocrinology: My current position is in the BayCare Endocrinology Specialty Clinic which I have been working in since July 2023. Our clinic works to provide BayCare team members and their dependents who have Type 2 DM with free/reduced prices on high value diabetes medications. I am responsible for the various documentation of patient encounters ranging from new patients, to follow up visits, to virtual glucose monitor reviews. This role is a hybrid position as I primarily work remotely via telehealth encounters and occasionally have in-person clinic days.Orlando Health Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery: I worked as a medical scribe and clinical aide for the OH Plastic Surgery team from December 2022 - June 2023. This was a fully in-person role where I was responsible for the documentation of pre-surgical patients undergoing various reconstructive surgeries. Our patient population included those undergoing breast cancer reconstruction, those with a multitude of skin cancers requiring excision and free flap reconstruction, and those electing to undergo cosmetic procedures. I additionally assisted onboarding providers with learning the EMR system used by Orlando Health.
