Ashly is a hard-working, driven young women who graduated a year ago with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, with a minor in Chemistry, from Western New England University.With a passion for helping others, Ashly believes that Biomedical Engineering is a good fit for her, and she is looking to expand her knowledge in the workforce. She is a motivated, quick-learner driven by a constant want to make a difference in the health care field. She is seeking a position at a Bio technical or Bio pharmaceutical company, where she believes her personality and education will thrive.Throughout her undergraduate experience, she worked on many team projects which she believes will help her in the workforce. Her most recent project was a year-long design project, focused on the idea of building a novel bioreactor to test chemo-therapeutics outside of the body. Specifically, her individual role looked at creating a means of quality control to test the properties of electrodes being placed in the bioreactor. During the course of this project, she became familiar with the FDA Waterfall Design Process and kept a Design History File. Additionally, she held leadership positions on, and off, campus, which allowed her to gain leadership skills and further develop her communication skills, which are both important in the workforce.
