In my personal and professional life, I strive to be an ally and advocate for underrepresented groups. I recognize the importance of listening to and learning from diverse perspectives, and I believe that it is crucial to actively seek out opportunities to engage with people from different backgrounds. As someone who has experienced the challenges and rewards of being a first-generation college student and a person of color, I am committed to creating opportunities for others who come from similar backgrounds. I believe that by working together and supporting each other, we can build a more equitable and inclusive world. Looking back on my educational career I am grateful for all the support I received and would like to do my part in helping others.
