Red Cross certified in CPR and emergency First-Aid5 AM Lifeguard (2 years): Help manage the pool’s chlorine and PH levels. I helped to maintain the Pump Room equipment, performed opening duties, and used, maintained, and fixed power washers.Preschool and Parent/Child Swim Instructor (2 years): Helped them to gain confidence in the water by teaching them elementary freestyle (doggy paddle), floating on their back, swimming underwater, and how to safely enter the pool. Helped parents to gain confidence with their infant in the water. Taught them to safely enter and exit the pool with their child and showed them how to confidently allow their children to enjoy the water through safety training and games. Enforced facility policies, monitored weather conditions and adjusted the pool hours accordingly, worked/monitored slides, monitored swimming areas for signs of distress and hazards to ensure and maintain the safety of the patrons
