As a highly motivated student athlete, I have learned how to manage my time between class, practice, and an on-campus job while being an NFHSA Scholar of Distinction and Presidential Scholar. I have strengthened my multi-tasking abilities while staying committed to my team and academic success. In my college coursework as a Business Management major, I have extensive Microsoft Office experience including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word along with Accounting, Project Management, Marketing, and Organizational Behavior knowledge. I have also gained valuable presentational experience through my Communications minor taken at Randolph Macon College where I have learned how to construct, develop, and deliver an effective presentation. As the HR Intern at A2LA, I was able to develop HR knowledge and improve my communication skills through first hand experience recruiting, interviewing, and contributing to various projects. Through my on campus job as a campus safety dispatcher, I have improved my listening skills, problem solving skills, and ability to be successful in high pressure situations. I have a passion for helping others, making meaningful connections, and an eagerness to learn. I enjoy partaking in volunteer opportunities within my local community and leadership development programs.
