Structural Designer- Create designs for customers, taking into account design efficiency depending on the environment it is produced in. - Assist on sales calls to present designs and learn customers packaging process- Find alternative, more economical designs for customers current packagingNon-Corrugated Sourcer- Act as a liaison between sales members and vendors to promote efficiency in the sales environment- Source non-corrugated materials necessary for packaging customers products

-Refresh skill set necessary to work create structural designs at a corrugated company - Become proficient at ArtiosCAD - Communicate with the sales team and customers to design for what best meets the needs of the customer - Learn problem solving skills - Gain better knowledge of the manufacturing environment

Create documents and schedules used to train phonathon supervisors and callers. Work with group of supervisors to create a positive work environment.

In this position I was able to learn about the Phonathon at a different level. In addition to staying familiar with the script and calling alumni, I assisted in conducting interviews when the semester started, helping to improve my interview skills. In addition to interviews, throughout the semester I oversaw and assisted the student callers to enhance their communication skills as well as my own.

This experience helped me get out of my comfort zone and enhance my communication skills. In addition to communication, it taught me how to gracefully handle rejection. Not only was I able to talk to the University's diverse alumni base but I was able to support my University by helping to raise funds for its improvement!Called alumni, parents, and friends of Clemson University to solicit funds for the betterment of the University.

During my co-op at Pratt Industries - Target Atlanta, I had the opportunity to learn about the corrugated industry in a sheet plant. Throughout this time, I experienced the manufacturing, sales, and design aspects of the corrugated industry. Using ArtiosCAD and a Kongsburg sample cutting table, I created packaging designs and cut samples used by sales people. Working at Pratt Industries and seeing the different functions of a sheet plant showed me how versatile the corrugated industry is.
