I look forward to pursuing a Master of Public Health degree focusing on global and environmental health, epidemiology, diplomacy, and security. As diseases such as Influenza, Ebola, Coronavirus, Malaria, pollution, contamination, and others run rampant, we need public health professionals. My core competencies include leadership, building long-term professional relationships, working with diverse populations, language acquisition, and quickly adapting to different situations and environments. I am eager to apply my knowledge, skills, and passion to the ever-evolving global health and diplomacy field. I will equip myself with the tools, education, and skillset to play an important role in public health, foreign and domestic.During my civilian volunteer experiences at the United States Naval Academy, I observed and learned from experienced medical staff, gaining valuable insights during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a former athlete, I am passionate about improving a person's overall quality of life, especially those who suffer from sports injuries or musculoskeletal disorders. I have a keen interest in sports medicine and biomechanics, as well as improving my photo and videography craft.
