This position at the Oceanaire helped me develop my professional soft skills. Some other focus areas were professional customer service skills, team work, problem solving, and multi-tasking. I learned how to deal with VIP guests and the public in general in a professional and efficient way. I learned many clerical skills such as answering phones, taking reservations, and operating OpenTable. Often times I had to communicate with multiple people at a time while under immense pressure. I controlled the flow of the seating in the dining room in a professional and orderly manner, while also problem solving.

Summmer Law Clerk for Baltimore City Law Department

Analyzed and reviewed law enforcement agency reports to ensure compliance with certain COMAR regulations. Documented constituent calls regarding hate crimes and civil rights violations and provide them with relevant resources. Reviewed and summarized civil rights related bills introduced to the Maryland General Assembly. Conducted research related to Redlining, LGBTQ Rights, Immigrant Rights in Maryland.
