SPX Corporation (NYSE: SPXC) is, along with its subsidiaries, a diversified, global supplier of infrastructure equipment with scalable growth platforms in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), and detection and measurement markets, and a strong presence in power and energy markets. • Shared Services recruiting partner across thirteen business units nationwide with a typical requirement load around thirty openings.• Leverage social media and other external resources to build a strong pipeline of IT, Engineering, Sales, Sales Director, Project/Product Management, Operations and Executive candidates.• Conduct intake sessions with hiring managers to understand requirements, set expectations and gather input regarding sourcing approach.• Manage all of elements of the recruiting process: requisition management, posting advertisements, sourcing, screening and interviewing, interview debriefs, compensation, offer process, candidate correspondence and manager up-dates.• Participated in continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing overall time to fill amongst business units.• Communicated duties, compensation, benefits and working conditions to all potential candidates, enabling better understanding of job expectations.• Trained and mentored newer recruiters in successful strategies for areas such as interviewing, qualifying candidates and company processes.• Built and leveraged professional network connections that provided continuous and relevant applicant sources across diverse industries and experience levels.• Create and maintain strong alliances with local colleges and trade schools to establish trusted relationship and continuous funnel of applicants.
