Independent Study and Mentorship (ISM) is an exciting, rigorous elective offered at Frisco ISD high schools, designed for high-achieving juniors or seniors. Students interested in taking ISM must complete the application and interview process to be considered for the course. Throughout this program, students will have an opportunity to explore their future career paths and receive guidance from a mentor. In this course, students will develop professional, communication, research, critical thinking, and time management skills.I chose Dentistry as my career choice, with a focus on Dental Anxiety and its impacts on oral health as well as overall health as my research topic. I developed a podcast, published on both YouTube and Spotify, named "Diving Deeper into Dentistry". Multiple episodes featured Dentists throughout the Dallas area, to allow for professional discourse.

Established tutoring business on a team of three, catering to students of all ages in Math, Science, English, and History, promoting academic success. Tracked revenue from each tutoring session per month, utilizing detailed Google Sheets spreadsheet, to maintain profitability. Managed and advertised social media platforms and created informative flyers to increase viewability and presence of business

Supervised three children weekly by ensuring safety, preparing meals, and providing enriching activities, to gain management skills. Engaged with the parents of the children effectively by scheduling babysitting appointments, to maintain professionalism.
