Traffic Management

• Manage and lead Warehouse Supervisors and Staff.• Develop and maintain a professional and motivated employee team by conducting regular communication and counselling activities and by the development of effective team building and leadership techniques• Ensuring housekeeping across warehouses is kept to a high standard at all times• Build effective relationships with MOVE’s customers and suppliers and participate in any issue resolution processes• Ensure that the area assigned to the role operates within its set financial budget• Participate in and lead Continuous Improvement Teams in formulating recommendations for improvements to work processes• Ensure operations are conducted in a way that ensure the safety of the staff, and any public persons within the work environment• Ensure all company equipment is cared for by staff and maintained to a high level• Be an active participant in MOVE’s business development activities with new and existing customers• Provide adequate communication to South Island Warehousing Manager on major operational related issues.• Role model “Safety First” approach by ensuring that I understand and adhere to MOVE safety policies, rules and safe work practices• Ensure H&S activities are consistent with the MOVE safety policies.• Participate in H&S activities including structured problem solving of incidents, hazard reporting, incident reporting and any health and safety training as required• Responsible to look after my Business unit P&L.

• Responsible to support the Site Manager in ensuring all warehouse operations run smoothly on a day-to-day basis• To ensure picking and packing of orders completed in time and in full to meet customer cut-offs, deadlines and KPIs• Orders are staged in such a way as to ensure they are easily checked off and easy to locate when they are ready to be dispatched• Stock is putaway tidily and correctly• The warehouse is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness at all times• To allocate staff throughout each day to different tasks to ensure the above warehouse operations are completed • To ensure all staff are only released once all required tasks are completed each day• To ensure all staff are wearing the correct safety equipment and uniform. This includes sending staff home if correct safety footwear or uniform is not worn• To assist the Site Manager in generating a staff roster each week• To assist the Site Manager in running weekly catch up meetings with the floor staff team to highlight any issues or new initiatives• Assisting with training and inducting new staff in correct warehouse procedures• Enforcing staff start times and reporting any lateness to Site Manager

• Responsible for day-to-day allocation of over 45 staff and 90 staff during seasonal peaks required for effective warehousing operations of Raw Materials and Finished Goods.• Responsible of having daily team brief meeting prior to start of the shift to discuss issue and solutions from previous day.• Responsible of having daily pm shift operations meeting with my direct reports which are (Shift supervisor, Shift 2IC, Dispatcher, & Picker Controllers).• Very flexible and responsive to the warehouse, distribution functions and activities which are developed and maintained to manage the warehouse.• Ensure the maintenance and correct operation of all assets.• Responsible of demonstrating a strong commitment to OHS and corporate governance.• Prioritizing resources effectively to maintain and exceed customer expectation and service delivery to the highest standards.• Review, monitor and manage labour budgets and KPI’s to set levels.• Ensure development and performance management of staff.• Operate the PRIDE Warehouse within the required Inventory Accuracy criteria.• Highly proficient in Excel and Access & Word

• Responsible to supervise Linfox employees and agency staff up to 20 employees in the finished goods warehouse.• Report directly to Springs Road Warehouse Site Manager.• Ensure the effective allocation of staff to achieve finished goods warehousing operations targets• Ensure flexible and responsive warehouse services are developed and maintained.• Ensure the maintenance and correct operation of all assets, MHE, RF and product.• Demonstrate a strong commitment to Security OHS and corporate governance.• Any reasonable requests by the customer are adhered to and acted upon professionally.• Demonstrate a strong commitment to the implementation and continuous development of WMS into the finished goods Warehouse• Responsible for supervising staff unloading Dangerous Goods chemical delivered to warehouse safely.• Have an understanding of budgeting and finance systems and a good working knowledge of office information systems including being highly proficient in Excel, Access and Word.• Responsible for hiring, interviewing and inducting New Staff.• Involved in Project harmony System Software testing integrating from ICE berg Mfg to ACE Mfg pro.• Trained and can cover Export Role, controlling overseas orders, stocks and sending containers out ontime as per customer request.

• Responsible for day-to-day allocation of over 30 staff and 50 staff during seasonal peaks required for effective warehousing operations of Raw Materials and Finished Goods.• Effectively Managing PM shift productivity throughout all departments and directly controlling the timely delivery of regular reports and activities through the various reporting systems including end of day reporting and other core operational reports for the PM shift.• Currently I’m responsible for delivering weekly safety Toolbox talks; also safety area warden in the event of an emergency evacuation where I am.• Responsible for ensuring that all staff are accounted for and evacuated from the Warehouse.• Planning breaks scheduling for the Warehouse picking teams in order to keep KPI’s high throughout every seasonal peak and special events.• I was involved in the re-designing of the staging area and pick-control, which helped Linfox Logistics minimize delays to truck loading.• I was also involved in Paperless WMS testing for Lion IT for one-month positive feedback from Lion project manager & warehouse manager Mark Partridge.• I have also implemented new carton pick consolidation menu program in Paperless WMS which helped in pushing up KPI’s on carton pick 2 times faster than before on daily basis.

• I was responsible for the Management and control of 20 staff and 30 during seasonal peak• Providing carton picks function and effectively establishing a high rate of productivity for the PM shift team through training and Supervision.• Responsible for the loading of interisland Christchurch containers and reaching weekly deadlines.• Worked alongside senior management to become proficient in the use of WMS, MFG-PRO and Paperless Warehousing systems.

Employed by Linfox Logistics in Dec of 2010 as a Store person assisting the Nightshift pick controller with various task’s such as:• Inventory investigation, investigating issue orders.• Carton picks.• Bottle pick.• Layer picks.• Ability to drive reach truck to replenish stock into pickface.• Bulk order picking with single and double fork hoist.
