• Supervised fishing vessels while offloading to ensure it complies with the permits provided.
• Monitoring and surveillance to ensure vessel is compliant with the rules and regulation of Fiji (Marine Spaces and Fisheries Act)
• Control of vessel movement in and out of the Suva harbor.
• Investigation of vessels that are in violation.
• Ensuring proper handling and processing of products from the vessels to the processing factories.
