• Integrated NCFAST with USCIS (SAVE) webservice. This synchronous web service call to SAVE will help reduce the time and get an instant response from SAVE to verify a documented alien request made by NC FAST. Currently NC FAST is only sending the first request as part of Step 1 to SAVE and the workers manually log on to the SAVE portal to verify the applicant information and clear the outstanding verification item. Introducing the automation will reduce the wait time and pending outstanding verification items can be cleared sooner, so application/recertification cases can be processed faster.• Integrated NCFAST with Equifax (The Work Number), as The Work Number provides employer and income information to support the NC FAST wage income verification functionality. • North Carolina Families Accessing Services through Technology (NC FAST) application to enable the ‘Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians’ (EBCI) to process and maintain cases within the system (NC FAST). The required modifications have been determined necessary during design sessions to satisfy requirements and policy. This project allows Tribal County Office’s (‘EBCI’) to maintain and process recipients for FNS, SNAP, and Medicaid. Tribal County Office (EBCI) will not be processing Special Assistance, Work First Services, Cash Assistance, Refugee Cash Assistance, and Benefit Diversion cases. • FFM Interface is for MAGI applications. We receive the MAGI application from FFM, determine the eligibility, authorize the application and send the results back to FFM. If it’s full cycle (i.e. App is received from FFM, eligibility is determined in NC FAST and authorized) then we send everything back to FFM.
