This involves working in the control room, money handling, organisation of events, quick thinking, problem solving, time management as well as dealing with people.

This was a retail position that involved sales, customer service, teamwork and money handling.

This is a hands on position, where I have constant involvement working with and assisting children at various stages of development, backgrounds and ages (aged 11-13) who attend after school care. The role involves:• Helping in the implementation of appropriate activities.• Ensuring they are carried out in accordance with the programme policies and procedures which cover supervision, safety and behaviour management.• Self awareness of all the policies and procedures.• Communicating with parents where appropriate.• Passing on any parent’s concerns or feedback to the coordinator.• Being responsive and friendly to parents.• Consulting with programme coordinator about any concerns.• Ensuring set up of the venue daily before children arrive and ensuring tidying up at the end of each day.• Advising the programme coordinator of any problems or need for repairs or maintenance.• Performing any other duties which ensure the smooth running of the programme and the provision of quality care and recreation.• Assisting the programme coordinator in any other way she sees fit• Arriving promptly before the start of the program.• Participating in staff meetings and annual performance reviews as requested.
