Working as part of a team to provide IT assistance to a range of clients across multiple levels, this has involved providing customer service over the phone, being a first point of contact, resolving and escalating issues.Roles- Working as part of a team as well as independently- Resolving and escalating issues as part of a busy help desk- Keeping to SLAs and prioritising issues based on severity- Working with office 365 and exchange environments- Working with both Hyper V and VMware virtualisation technologies- Working in a windows environment, examples include active directory, group policy, file servers, Microsoft office and SharePoint- Performing both hardware and software fixes across multiple levels- Liaising with 3rd parties where required- Working with Customer’s various software packages, an example of this would include Sage products- Carrying out fixes both remotely and on-site

During my apprenticeship at the Minster School, working as an IT Technician, working in a 2 man team, that liaised with a IT support company providing support to 1600+ students and around 200 staff. My role involved overcoming any problems that may arise: network, hardware and software faults.Project I have done have included:- Assisting in the Roll-out of Windows 10 to the whole school- Carrying out HDD to SSD upgrade to all of the Schools laptops- Refurbishing and upgrading old desktopsRoles:- Carrying out tasks on a SCCM server (mainly OS capture and deployment/creating and deploying software packages)- Helping to maintain records on a door access server- Accessing servers though VMware vSphere- Working in a Windows Domain environment, including the use of Active Directory, Group Policy and File servers- Keep records of new equipment and install to the allocated location- Keep records of old equipment and re-allocate/recycle where required/requested - Working on a busy Helpdesk providing support to a large secondary school- Carry out tasks on a print server as instructed- Dynamically adapt roles and responsibilities to include higher skilled tasks to cope with workload alongside senior technician
