I've worked with youth ages 5-18 for about ten years and have volunteered my time with the YMCA for close to fifteen years. I worked as a Leasing Consultant for a luxury apartment complex and gained skills in sales. Since August of 2022, I started working at a charter school in my hometown, teaching 7th grade English Language Arts, Math, and a Poetry and KPOP/Korean Language elective.I have my Associates Degree in Communication Studies, Certification through Gavilan College in Communication Studies, and also achieved my BA in Humanities and Communication at CSU Monterey Bay. I am currently enrolled in a Master's program in Communication at Arizona State University. I also have a certification through South Korea's Yonsei University for Beginner Korean and did a seven week course through the San Jose Learning Center, achieving a certification for Level 2 Korean.Aside from volunteering with the YMCA of Silicon Valley, I volunteered for a local, non-profit book publishing company called Literary Legacies and was on their board as Head of Publishing Chair. While at CSUMB, I was an editor for our university's academic journal, Writing Waves.
