After serving as a firefighter in the United States Marine Corps, I have found myself putting out technical fires throughout my career, and I learned along the way to work very hard to ensure that a fire doesn't start in the first place.I fully understand the importance, and promote the idea of ownership of issues, accountability, and having a sense of urgency…and a sense of humor. I have spent most of my career helping integrate new technologies, infrastructure, and processes in the Financial and Healthcare sectors and my experience provides a wide foundation of knowledge and expertise that allows me to communicate across IT and Business verticals.But after almost 30 years in IT, in October of 2024, I left my career to open Hossjoe's Dog Parks and Perks. Many of the skills I've gathered and maintained will do doubt go stale, while many will come in handy, I look forward to the new challenges of running an 11 acre private park.
