About Dr. Ashraful Islam

I have a passion for computer programming, artificial intelligence research, teaching and project management. Enjoy working in a team. I am competent in C/C++, Java, C#, PHP, Java, Python, Javascript, HTML, CSS and machine learning. I have developed prototype software for FTP, HTTP, IMAP, POP3, SMTP, LDAP, SIP/RTP. I can implement any RFC protocol. I have developed ashscript a web programming language. I have worked as a lecturer overseas and at UK universities. Fellow of UK Higher Education Academy. I have published two technical books. I have been awarded as developer of Best Value Added software for 2008 by UKITA.My latest project is FirstPBX which is currently used in UK. A system developed for telecom service providers. Access to demo portal is available on request. White level virtual pbx portal designed for telecom service providers.I am an active contributor to the GRiST project at Aston University.
