The Knot Inc. is one of the world's leading wedding media and services companies, providing to-be-weds with comprehensive wedding planning information, interactive tools and resources. To enable The Knot Inc. to enter new markets and penetrate existing markets with innovative products and services, The Knot Inc. needs an agile; sell side e-commerce solution, business intelligence on consumer behavior, ability to manage targeted campaigns, fresh, relevant and personalized content for consumers and business partners and a toolset to monitor these initiatives.In this project, the scope was to design and development of the solution for re-architecting the TheKnot.com (Commerce Section) using Microsoft Commerce Server and Biz Talk Server for Wedding Warehouse section. Implementation includes targeting, product catalog, user profile, reports and pipelines. Re-architecting the site involved organizing the customer facing commerce pages of theknot.com by having functional enhancements like multiple shipping addresses, developing a new look and feel, managing campaigns by customization of Business Desk and overall re-organizing of the Wedding Shop section of the KnotShop website and related navigation.Responsibilities:Web service Creation, Developing web pages and a Scheduled package for data transformation in daily basis.
