Composite Workshop - more than 6 years experience in Composite workshop. • Carried out various parts manufacturing using composite materials.• Carried out fabrication of cargo lining for Cargo aircrafts• Repair of un-serviceable aircraft parts.• Some sheet metal works on aircraft parts.2. Base Maintenance Attachment• I was attached to base maintenance division on rotation basis.• While I was attached there my job scopes was from handling HMV aircrafts and assist the engineers to carry out rectification and repairs on the aircrafts. This involved in removal and assembly of various aircraft parts.• Other check I was always involved on was C checks, D checks, A checks and also AOG’s.• Types of aircraft handle are B737, B747, B777, A300, A320, A330, A340, MD and Learjet’s.3. Paint Shop Attachment • Attached to paint shop to carry out painting of aircraft, aircraft parts, panels, galleys and also cabin interior items.• Carried out sanding of the whole aircraft for painting preparation.• Carried out masking of the whole aircraft and aircraft parts.4. Safety Shop Workshop • Carried out testing, overhaul and packing over various types of slide raft from various airline operators• Carried out Hydro-testing on cylinders and fire bottles.• Overhauled regulator valves used in the cylinders.• Carried out charging of cylinders with CO2 and N2 gases.5. Powerplant Workshop • Carried out fan blade edge repairs• Carried out exit guide vane repairs.• Carried out thrust reverser blanket repairs.• Carried out acoustic panel repairs.• Carried out modification of fan cowling heat insulation.• Carried out cosmetic repairs on various areas of the engine external surfaces.6. Line Maintenance • Handle AOG aircraft on various conditions and repairs and weather.• Carried out repair on bird strike damages.• Carried out repair on tire burst damages.• Carried out repair on lightning strike damages.• Carried out repair on human error damages.
