Reporting to the Procurement and Materials Manager, job involved supervision of:• Warehouse team of 4 warehouse staff and 9 laborers.• Receipt of the goods from the Vessel / flight, as ordered into the Warehouse by the Procurement department for issuance to the various clients.• After the preliminary check on the damages, if any, co-ordinate with the QC dept to ensure that all the Material certificates are cross verified conforming to ISO standards.• Allocation of space in… Show more Reporting to the Procurement and Materials Manager, job involved supervision of:• Warehouse team of 4 warehouse staff and 9 laborers.• Receipt of the goods from the Vessel / flight, as ordered into the Warehouse by the Procurement department for issuance to the various clients.• After the preliminary check on the damages, if any, co-ordinate with the QC dept to ensure that all the Material certificates are cross verified conforming to ISO standards.• Allocation of space in yard/warehouse adhering to the safety requirements for the safe handling by allowing safe space for the movement of the fork lift or crane.• Issuance of material on receipt of requisition from the sales team.• Supervise the packing/crating of materials and ensure proper loading on to vehicles.• Check and ensure that the truck into which the materials are getting loaded are meeting the safety requirements like good tyres, proper safety measures are there to ensure that the materials do not slip off from the trailer during the transport. This is done as per the Safety directive of various clients like BP/ Anadarko/ ADNOC/ DUBAL/McDermott/Lamprell etc who have strict safety norms.• Timely issuance of Procurement requisitions.• Supervise the proper housekeeping of the warehouse and the Storage yard, and ensures that all safety standards are adhered in the warehouse complying to the oil and gas industry.• Co-ordinate with various clients during the issuance of the materials, and when they visit our works for auditing purposes..• Maintains inventory of goods with the help of software.
