• Responsible for the overall performance, availability and optimization of Wifi network, servers, router/switches, storage devices etc. Analyze and assess the current and future infrastructure needs. Coordinate with other teams to identify, design and implement new systems to support business needs.• Successfully architected, designed and deployed MTNL’s Delhi Public Wifi network infrastructure to support Wifi services on several hotsopts across Delhi.• Manage outsourced network management vendors. (Height8, Ruckus, Cisco, Fortinet etc).• Design and implementation of network and security infrastructure.• IT strategic planning for infrastructure and systems using best practices and service delivery.• Liaising with MTNL backend team for MPLS configuration for Wifi Hotspots.

• Receive resolve and execute customer requests appropriately and with the proper sense of urgency and monitor all ticket queues for appropriate ticket statuses, update statuses if necessary and providing additional assistance when needed.• Fault handling and escalation, identifying and responding to faults on IO Global’s systems and networks.• Follow established procedures for the assignment, acceptance and handling of support requests and trouble tickets and responsible for timely and accurate completion of all assigned tasks.• Manage and maintain the IO Global Monitoring Systems (report on the status and performance of IO-Global’s network, ISP services and facilities).• Maintenance of NOC technical documentation of processes and procedures used throughout normal operations and customer database.• Monitor phone queues for extended hold times and engage additional assistance for NOC personal when needed.• Responsible of the core network daily supervision and proactive monitoring, responsible for the upgrade, installation and maintenance of the Wimax – Wifi – VSAT-Microwave core network in Kabul and major provinces.• Responsible of reporting daily, weekly all incidents of the IO Global Core network & Key customers.• Liaising with 3rd Party suppliers, handling escalation through the resolution.• Server builds and installs, application upgrades, network equipment build and installation.• Facilities maintenance (Monitoring and management of Air-conditioning, UPS, Generators, Power, Usage, Running health and safety and housekeeping checks at IO Global NOC/POPs).• Facilities provisioning (Installing racks, setting up power, installing Ethernet, Fiber and console Cabling).• Coordination with upstream providers (Afghan Telecom, Etisalat, ANS, ABS, Singtel).• Respond to calls on 24/7 if and when required.

• Monitoring and troubleshooting of Viasat linkstar Vsat Hub operation.• Monitoring and troubleshooting of iDirect Vsat Hub operation.o Configuration and troubleshooting of VSAT links using iBuilder, iMonitor, Linkstar NMS and Allot etc. • Coordinate with Satellite operator with any kind of signal and network related issue.• Installation and troubleshooting of links on iDirect platform.• Installation and troubleshooting links on Airspan Wireless.• The work includes the maintenance of a remote HUB located in Hong Kong at Reach site.• Working on Bandwidth management tools (Net enforcer from Allot).• Configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Clients on HUB using web base NMS (Network Management system).• Managing other Bandwidth Management and billing Software i.e. 24online, Firegate etc.• Worked on Network Administration Software’s like CACTI. Configuring the graphs for customers.• Worked on Content Filtering and Firewalls like Cyberoam, Clark Connect, Firegate, ZyXEL, Zywall 35• Configure and maintain Cisco Router 2600, 3600 and Cisco switches of customers and Camps in Afghanistan.• Co-ordinate with POC (Satellite Earth station) technical support staff on worst conditions• Coordinating directly with Field Support Engineer & providing technical assistance on VSAT and SCPC Network.• Monitoring the links through Cacti, MRTG, Whatsup Gold.
