I am Ashok Mehta, a seasoned entrepreneur with a passion for innovation and a deep commitment to social welfare. My journey began at the age of 22, when I set out to explore the world of import and export, traveling to over 30 countries. This global exposure laid the foundation for my ventures, leading to the establishment of 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐋𝐭𝐝. in 2004, one of India's largest embroidery manufacturers. Under my leadership, 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐋𝐭𝐝 has flourished, providing employment to over 1,000 people and becoming a leader in the textile sector.But my entrepreneurial journey didn't stop there. I took a bold step into the semiconductor industry with the founding of 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝, making it India’s first indigenous semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) facility in Surat. My vision is to position Gujarat as a global hub for Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and semiconductor production, contributing to India's technological advancement.Beyond business, I am deeply committed to philanthropy, particularly within the Jain community. As the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐒 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, the largest Jain NGO in India, I lead initiatives that impact over 75,000 members. My efforts in social causes extend to education, where I've supported over 800 students through scholarships and aided countless individuals with medical treatments. My leadership extends across various organizations, including 𝐉𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐢 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐲𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐤 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐞. I’m also involved in multiple charitable trusts, including the 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭, 𝐉𝐞𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐣𝐧𝐚 and the 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐯𝐚𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭. Establishing 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐕𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐚𝐦, a sanctuary for Jain sadhus and sadhvis, has been one of my most fulfilling contributions to the Jain community.With over 100 awards recognizing my contributions to industry and society, I am proud to lead businesses that are not only profitable but also purposeful.
