Joined organization with mandate of establishing offshore development team in India. Handled various positions like Program Manager, Engineering Manager, Technology Specialist.Worked with the BU of Field Products having diverse product portfolio like transmitters, data loggers, PLCs, Actuators, controllers.During the start-up phase, was instrumental in setting up policies, processes and the completed ODC operational framework by closely working with the US based customers . Recruited skilled personnel and built up a competent cross functional team and led several projects for absorbing technology from US HO team. Facilitated engineering/R&D ownership of select product lines from developed countries to India. Over the years, led, managed and developed various projects related to NPI (new product introduction). Involved in the complete project life cycle from budgeting, estimation, solution designing, technical specifications, testing to delivery to manufacturing.Was also responsible of CE, Safety , SIL , Hazloc certifications of these products.Migrated Paperless Recorder product line from UK and Actuator product line from USA to India – Set up skilled professional resource teams and transferred knowledge from principal partners. Built development facilities and ensured release of software/hardware in a phased manner. In addition also handled the logistics/supply aspects of materials/equipment. As a member of Global Cross Functional Team comprising of design, manufacturing, marketing and service teams , was involved in forecast, estimation, compliance of budgets and preparation of project plans and road maps.Key NPI Projects:- X Series Paperless Recorder- HC900 SIL2 certified process controller- Actuator- Temperature Transmitter
