The Institute is a product of our belief that language, technology, culture and progress are inseparable and that language and technology are the keys to solve all human problems. Our mission is 'to equip students, teachers and the wider community with the knowledge, attitude and skills for living and working successfully in an environment of rapid technological and social change, by means of teaching, training and research in culture studies, particularly in language and communication in multilingual and multicultural settings.' The Institute mainly conducts the courses of MA, M Phil and Ph D in English. The 2000 alumni are successfully working in 12 countries and all the States of India.
