Environment - WindowsTools - SCOM 2012/2016/1801/1807/2019 operations Console, Authoring Console, Powershell, Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 Authoring Extension, Microsoft Visio, Azure Monitor (Log Analytics Workspace)Responsibilities : • Administration of the SCOM infrastructure along with troubleshooting all the issues end to end.• Monitoring Infrastructure using SCOM.• Agent Installation and on-boarding the agent to SCOM Monitoring, decommission the agent from SCOM Monitoring.• Troubleshooting the Agent related issues, MS, GW, DB, DW related issues• Perform the administration tasks from operation manager console.• Working on incidents related to Health Incidents of SCOM clients.• Providing the root cause on missing alert notification.• Add\Removing servers from maintenance mode and performing the password update rotation activities on SCOM service accounts.• Raising certificates and installing them on Management servers and Agents, taking care of Renewal of certificates.• Creating Monitor alerts and rule-based alerts in SCOM console as per customer request.• New Management pack installation and import/export the Management pack from SCOM console.• Experience in overriding the management packs.• Discovering the agents under specific class.• Using the Microsoft Windows PowerShell scripting engine to automate tasks with SCOM.• Performing the patching activity on SCOM MS and Agents every month and taking care of servers without any issues during patch window.• Experience in Migration activity from 2016 to 1801 and 1801 to 1807.• Involving in Meetings for weekly/monthly production releases.• Performing tasks based on customer/clients requests like deployment, migration, production support, releases, incident management.
