I am interested in all aspects of business right from strategy to operations. This interest has developed gradually over the course of my 20-year professional career. While I believe in continuous on the job learning - in the past, based on the roles I have envisaged for myself, I have taken breaks from work and invested 3 years in higher education. Armed with the right knowledge and the right attitude (shaped by my experiences), I have been able excel in the responsibilities I have been entrusted with.I like to understand the limits of possibility, and this has made me dive deep into diverse areas of engineering & management. This coupled with my past success and ability to rise from setbacks has given me the ability to set bold aspirations.Problems excite me. The opportunity to navigate challenges through informed decision making is highly motivating. I find the process of building consensus through continuous dialogue necessary for making the right decisions.I am at ease interacting with people across the organizational hierarchy and with team members, partners or business associates across nationalities. Having spent close to initial 11 years of my career designing automotive transmissions (precision engineering assemblies) and the last 7 years in various strategy roles, I have developed a strong techno-commercial skill set. This successful transition from a purely engineering role to a corporate strategy role not only demonstrates my learning agility but also willingness to move out of my comfort zone into unchartered territories.Initial part of my career has helped me build & demonstrate my program management abilities - from conceptualization to delivery by effectively combining analysis, synthesis, business planning, team building, conflict management & problem-solving skills. The most recent part of my career has helped to build & demonstrate leadership abilities such as interacting with & presenting to senior leadership (C-Suite), strategy development & implementation (including M&A), goal setting and implementation in a business context.I am grateful to the organizations that I have worked for and value the opportunities that they have provided me to grow personally and professionally. I am also thankful to my colleagues who have given me valuable life lessons.
