Ashok Kumar is an award-winning well-seasoned screenplay writer with over 30+ years of experience in scriptwriting. Over the last few years, he has successfully ventured into major south Indian television channels such as Sun T.V and Vijay T.V. His shows have been telecast in prime slots across all major Indian networks. Not only has he established himself in his regional language, but he has also ventured out into Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam series and has left a tangible mark with the audience with his soaps. He has been subjected to numerous accolades and is also the recipient of the prestigious Tamilnadu state award in scriptwriting for the much talked about soap opera "Thangam". He is known for his riveting, engaging, and nail-biting writing. He has broken all the glass ceilings with regard to small screenwriting and has pioneered series that has broken the record for longest-running series.
