Starting the department from Scratch, used to overseeing the completion and development of SOPs & ensuring all day to day supply chain cycle & standards procedures are upheld. Overseeing daily procurement requests, warehouses reports, imported goods and shipments under clearance. Close monitoring of Project Schedule and ensuring the required materials are available as per the shared project timelines Key Achievement:• Being an international staff in a new startup business, I had put an extreme effort to identify and know the culture of the country, sourcing suppliers those can meet the criteria, set deals with them. also started to set the framework of department strategy. • Establishing all department SOPs, policies and procedures. • Establishing Vendor Master file, Supplier selection criteria, supplier visit plan and shortlisting of suppliers. • In one month time, we successfully added 420 new approved suppliers to the master file and started to place orders with our trusted sources. • Hiring procurement and warehouses staff, train on the policy, and SOP of the department. • Started to set plans and strategies of the project warehouses, planning and dividing zones to receive materials as per the project plan • Started the item master files and coding of the inventory, placing material with expiry in FIFO method.• Started to categories the suppliers using A,B,C analysis. Key Achievement: • Successful Implementation and integration or Oracle System and linked Saadat City and Nasr City Factories to operate under one system. • Leading and Supervising the factory fernce upgrade in Saadat City. A project of 180M EGP and imports from 10 European Countries. • Successful implementation and approval of reduced VAT on importation from Ministry of Investments to all importation for the upgrade project from 10% to 5%. • worked in New initiatives to help reducing the number of external warehouses from 15 external warehouse to 0 in 1 year by opening a new export market in Turkey with a weekly exports of 60 containers from each factory. • Successful implementation of export station in each factory from 1 container every 4 hours to 64 Containers every 4 hours. • Successful implementation of portal barcoding system to glass ballets for easy access of location, manufacturing dates, cost of stocks & automation receiving and releasing cycle. • Reducing the shipping cost of exported container to Turkey & Lebanon from 325 USD/Container to 25$ per container through a big Export planning and negotiation with shipping lines and set a long term agreements with them. • Successful reduction of company stocks of SP from 64M EGP to 30M EGP by coding and using the stocks to fit the machines they had been bought for.

• As a fresh graduate, I have joined GB Auto as a Foreign Purchasing Specialist, managing imports of spare parts and raw materials to the production line in Qalioub, Egypt • Receiving PRs, Review them and include them to the department follow up sheets. • Filter requests and compile them to send to suppliers. • Send RFQ and issue comparison sheets once I receive all quotations as per the department policy and procedures. • Send comparison sheets for approvals and processing. Issue P.Os and follow up the production of the order. • Send requests to Logistics department to send shipping and clearance offers. Filter them and select the suitable offer as per the needed delivery dates. • Follow up shipments till they arrive to the warehouses and follow up receiving notes. • File any defects or damages to the items shipped "incase of any" and send back to insurance companies for refunds. • Send complains to suppliers and asking for replacement orders incase of any unfunctional items or wrong deliveries. Key Achievement: • Passed the probation period and being employed as a full time staff. • Proven fast learning and being assigned 15 suppliers to manage directly. • Passing qualification assessments and being short listed for the final interviews of joining GBPOLO • Passing the final interviews and being promoted and shifting to work at GBPOLO
